Dana Uhlhorn, (pronounced Yule-horn), has been a resident of Northern Nevada most of his life, and has lived in Incline Village, Carson City, Reno, Sparks, Lemmon Valley, and has been a resident of Fernley now for almost 20 years. Although his current career in Real Estate started in 2009, he has been the broker and owner of 1st Option Realty, LLC, since its inception in 2016, he has had previous careers in Auto Body and Paint, as well as Construction. Dana is very involved in Fernley and the surrounding area, having served as past President of the Fernley Chamber of Commerce, being on the Fernley Arts and Culture Task Force, is currently the Chair of the Lyon County Library Board, is a director on the Fernley Community Foundation, and heads a non-profit organization he started in 2018, the Fernley ACES. The Fernley ACES, (which is an acronym for Arts and Culture Events Squad), was started to jump start bringing art and fun events to Fernley. So far, this group has done multiple board projects, art shows, put on plays, puts on an epic haunted house every year, and is also key in the Christmas Village downtown on Main Street every year.
